Welcome to the English and Foreign Language
Department's Home Page at Northern Essex Community College. We are located on the third floor of the Spurk Building.
The English Department teaches writing to nearly every
first-year student at NECC; its upper level course offerings
include creative and technical writing courses as well
as a variety of literature courses ranging from Shakespeare
and mythology to modern drama and film.
This website
contains information on our course offerings, our faculty,
and several departmental activities. In addition, there
are a number of links to electronic resources which we
hope will be helpful.
