Academic ESL – Preparing for Classes in English

Pathways to Academic & Career Excellence (PACE)
This grant funded initiative provides additional support and resources to students who are the first in their family to go to college and who meet federal financial guidelines.

SOAR
The SOAR program is a student support program created for NECC students. SOAR provides opportunities for students to strengthen their academic skills, explore career and transfer choices, express their identities, and grow their leadership experience. Learn more about SOAR.
Supplemental Instruction (SI) Classes
Supplemental Instruction (SI) is a series of weekly review sessions that accompany a particular group of courses. It’s a chance to get together with people from class to compare notes, to discuss important concepts, to develop strategies for studying the subject, and to review for tests.
