Each September, a week is dedicated to raising awareness about the vital need for and value of adult education and family literacy. This year, National Adult Education and Family Literacy Week will be celebrated from September 15 to 21, and for the first time, NECC will join the celebrations.

On Tuesday, September 17, we will host a brief 15-20-minute event to recognize the achievements of our adult learners and highlight the transformative power of adult education. We would love for you to be part of this important moment.

At this event, we will also formally launch our newly formed chapter of the National Adult Education Honor Society, honoring excellence and commitment within our program.
