Studying Human Services at NECC
You will be trained as a generalist to work in a range of settings with seniors, adults, adolescents, and children. You can train to work with individuals with;
- Substance abuse issues
- Intellectual disabilities
- Mental illness
- Developmental disabilities
- Emotional disabilities
Programs integrate classroom learning with practicum courses, which are supervised clinical experiences that provide real-life experiences. The programs integrate the National Community Support Skill Standards into the curriculum and are approved by the Council for Standards in Human Service Education.
