If you plan to complete a joint admissions agreement with Salem State University, you must complete the Salem State University/Northern Essex Community College Dual Admission Participation Form.

Joint Admissions Program
- Earn an associate degree at NECC and transfer to SSU within one year of NECC’s graduation.
- Enroll in SSU’s day program (in-state and out-of-state students eligible).
- Maintain consecutive fall/spring enrollment.
- Submit FAFSA annually before classes start.
- Complete your bachelor’s degree within five years.
- Maintain a 2.0+ GPA and take at least two classes per semester.
- Sign-up for a Virtual Transfer Information Session
- Complete the online application
- Send your transcripts
- Meet with a personal Transfer Connections Coach to ensure a smooth transition and enrollment assistance.
MassTransfer
NECC students who aren’t able to participate in the Joint Admissions program may choose to explore options available through MassTransfer.
