Joint Admissions Program

Eligibility for Joint Admissions
  • Earn an associate degree at NECC and transfer to SSU within one year of NECC’s graduation.
  • Enroll in SSU’s day program (in-state and out-of-state students eligible).
  • Maintain consecutive fall/spring enrollment.
  • Submit FAFSA annually before classes start.
  • Complete your bachelor’s degree within five years.
  • Maintain a 2.0+ GPA and take at least two classes per semester.
Application Process
  • Sign-up for a Virtual Transfer Information Session
  • Complete the online application
  • Send your transcripts
Enrollment Steps
  • Meet with a personal Transfer Connections Coach to ensure a smooth transition and enrollment assistance.

MassTransfer

NECC students who aren’t able to participate in the Joint Admissions program may choose to explore options available through MassTransfer.
