Copyright and Creativity

March 5, 11:00 am to 12:00 pm

In honor of Open Ed week, come and hear NECC Librarian Laura Mondt discuss how copyright applies to the work you create as a student or anything you create in other areas of your life as well.

A brief overview of why copyright is important, how it applies to created works, and an overview of how you can take agency over how your work is used by applying Creative Commons licenses will be discussed.

Join us in the Center for Liberal Arts (room C-209)!
