Event Navigation
Wondering how AI (Artificial Intelligence) is already being used in your future career?
Join the conversation and ask questions to a panel of professionals currently working with AI in fields such as business, communication, engineering, and health. They will address common myths (like “Will AI replace my job?”) and share their insights about how they are integrating AI into their work. We’ll also discuss potential threats related to AI misuse and bias, economic and social impact, and ethical concerns.
Location: Lecture Hall A – Spurk Building
This event sponsored by the Liberal Arts Division’s Department of Performing Arts & Communication. The event speaker will be Liberal Arts: Journalism/Communication student Daniela Valdivia-Terres in her role as Newman Civic Fellow at NECC.
