Your NECC Legacy: the Power of Planned Giving
Looking for ways to leave a lasting impact on NECC and its students? Legacy gifts provide a great avenue through which to support the college in the long-term while ensuring personal financial security.
A planned gift, or legacy gift, is a type of contribution that allows generous individuals the opportunity to allocate personal funds to an organization, generally to be distributed at a later date. Often, these gifts are made through a will or trust and may be secured in various forms, including lifetime income, real estate, life insurance, and bequests. Many giving channels allow individuals to receive income for life while gaining tax advantages.
Why Arrange a Planned Gift to NECC?
Setting up a gift with NECC is a great way to provide long-term support, helping the college and its students thrive well into the future. Planned gifts can also ensure the security of various programs, scholarships, and resources depending on the donor’s specifications.
Anyone who sets up a planned gift with NECC will automatically become a member of the William and Rosemary Klueber Planned Giving Society.

William and Rosemary Klueber Planned Giving Society
The William and Rosemary Klueber Planned Giving Society was named in honor of two beloved members of the Northern Essex Community College alumni family, the late William J. “Bill” Klueber ’63, who served as an esteemed member of our Alumni Board for decades, and Rosemary B. Klueber ’70.
Both Bill and Rosemary graced the college with their invaluable leadership for years, serving as prominent members on a variety of college boards and advisory committees. In addition, both acted as philanthropic ambassadors for the college’s fundraising initiatives, setting a prominent example for other alumni and friends to follow.
“Northern Essex gave both Rosemary and me a good start in life and we have been honored to watch the college grow through the years and to grow alongside it. It was important for us, as proud graduates and supporters, to take the next step in giving back to NECC through a legacy gift.”
