View video on the NECC YouTube Channel.
Education is the foundation for success. Teachers make a difference in student’s lives, helping them to grow, develop, and reach their potential. If you are seeking a rewarding career as a teacher, Northern Essex offers three different career paths for you to choose from.
Studying for an Education Degree at NECC:
You can prepare for a career as:
- Early Childhood Educator (working with young children and families)
- Elementary education teacher (teaching in grades 1 to 6)
- Or a middle or high school teacher.
All programs integrate classroom learning with practicums or field experiences that provide real-world experiences.
