Liberal Arts Associates Degrees

A degree in liberal arts will give you a solid foundation in critical thinking, critical reading, research, and communications. An associate of arts degree can be a springboard into the working world, or a meaningful milestone on your journey toward a college degree. You can complete your first two years at Northern Essex and then transfer to a four-year school.
Studying Liberal Arts at NECC:
You can explore a wide variety of subjects and perspectives. Students have the option to concentrate in one or more areas, like Writing, Journalism, or Psychology.
At NECC, liberal arts degrees are offered in a number of areas, including a general Liberal Arts Degree, Liberal Arts: Psychology, Liberal Arts: Philosophy, Writing, and Journalism/Communication.
