Trendy Food Courses Offered This Fall at NECC
Cake Decorating for Beginners is just one of the many noncredit food courses being offered this fall for adults by NECC.
After Stone-Grimaldi honed her cake decorating skills, she returned to that bakery wowing them with her portfolio, and was hired. Today, she has more than 10 years of experience as a cake decorator and until recently was the lead decorator at Crosby’s Bakery in Nashua, NH.
Cake Decorating for Beginners will be offered Thursdays from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. beginning Sept. 27 through Nov. 1, at the Timony Grammar School, 45 Pleasant View St., Methuen, in partnership with the Methuen Adult Community Education Program. Methuen town employee and residents receive a 20* discount. The fee is $113 plus a $45 materials fee.
Four other food related courses will be offered on the Haverhill campus beginning in September. They include Asian Cuisine taught by Asian cooking instructor Phuong Matzker of Londonderry, NH, and All Time Indian Favorites, Indian Snacks, and Appetizers, and Indian Vegetarian Delights all taught by Indian cooking instructor Shilpi Ranjan, of Andover, owner of E-Z Compliments.
