The Northern Essex Community College Communications Arts Department will present a Performing Arts Showcase featuring music, theater, and dance on Friday, November 16 from noon to 1 p.m.

This free performance will be held in the David Hartleb Technology Center on the college’s Haverhill Campus, 100 Elliott St.

Northern Essex offers associate degrees in General Studies: Dance Option; General Studies: Music Option, and Liberal Arts: Theater Option as well as certificates in Dance Education and Music Technology.

At NECC, you can pursue a career in acting, directing or technical theater. You can be trained to perform, create, or teach music. You can also prepare for a career in dance performance, choreography, dance education, dance therapy, or dance studio operation. The performing arts programs feature certificates and associate degrees to either pursue a career after graduation or transfer to a four-year college to earn your bachelor’s degree.
