Women of NECC Hold Fundraiser

The Women of Northern Essex Community College recently held a fashion show at the Lanam Club in Andover featuring the fashions of Cristina’s and Dino International Furs, both of Andover. More than $3,400 was raised to benefit the Women of NECC Scholarships.

In addition, the more than 100 attendees participated in a live auction which included items donated by the Women of NECC Board Members and Flowers by Steve, Inc.

The winner of the raffle went home with a sheared mink poncho that was donated by Anne Mantsios, owner of Dino International Furs.

The Women of NECC are a volunteer organization dedicated to assisting Northern Essex Community College and its students. The organization generates funds for student scholarships and special projects by conducting a variety of fundraising events throughout the year, including a Fall Membership Tea and a June Gala Open House event.
