“The Art of Winning Elections” is Focus of Lecture
Two political strategists – one a Republican and one a Democrat – will discuss “The Art of Winning Elections” during the next Northern Essex Community College speakers’ series “Movers, Shakers, and Opinion Makers” on Wednesday, February 25th at 11 a.m. in Lecture Hall A in the lobby of the Spurk (“C”) Building on the Haverhill campus.
This event is free and open to the public.
The event will include a presentation by Charles Baker, III, a Democratic campaign operative and founding partner of the Dewey Square Group, a public affairs firm in Boston, and David Forsberg, chairman of Republican Governor Charlie Baker’s campaign. He has extensive experience in state and governmental affairs and is dean of the School of Business at Anna Maria College in Paxton.
The two presenters will discuss their experiences working to elect candidates for state and federal office, examine today’s current state of affairs and answer questions from the audience.
“Movers, Shakers and Opinion Makers” – brings distinguished individuals from government and politics to campus to speak with students, faculty and community members about issues of importance in today’s society. In active dialogue with the speakers, we seek to foster an open exchange of thoughts and ideas about both the challenges and the opportunities facing us in the modern world.
