NECC will Showcase Seminars for Seniors on Jan 22
Adults 50 and older who are interested in learning for fun are invited to check out the series of seminars planned for this winter and spring, offered by Northern Essex Community College’s College of Older Learners (CoOL.)
Seminars cover a wide range of topics from “Meditation” to the “History and Impact of The French Revolution” to “Tai Chi to Improve Health.” Those interested are invited to attend a showcase of CoOL’s offerings which will be held on January 22, from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. at the Hartleb Technology Center, room 103A, on the Haverhill Campus, 100 Elliott St.
The showcase will feature the CoOL courses and seminars offered during the winter and spring terms. Each instructor will present an overview of his or her seminar so that participants can decide which seminars are the best fit for their interests. CoOL classes are meant to be interesting and enriching, without admission requirements, exams, or term papers.
All of the courses meet on a designated week-day for five consecutive weeks, unless otherwise noted, at the Haverhill campus. Courses cost $35 and run anywhere from January to March 2019, and March to April 2019.
