Two Certified Nursing Assistant/Home Health Aid Programs will be offered through NECC this spring.

Northern Essex Community College will offer two, six-week nurse assistant/home health aide training program this spring and summer on the Haverhill campus, 100 Elliott St.

The programs will run from May 20 through June 28 and July 8 through August 16, Mondays through Friday 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Information sessions will be held April 24 and May 8, for the May 20 program and June 12 and 19 for the July 8 program. All information sessions run from 10 a.m. until noon in  room 114 at the HOW building.  671 Kenoza Street, Haverhill.  Enter through the MASSHIRE entrance.

The program is designed to prepare individuals to sit for the Massachusetts Certified Nurse Assistant/ Certified Nurse Aide exam and be listed in the Nurse Aide Registry. The program includes resume development and opportunities to speak with representatives from local health-care facilities.
