NECC Dancers Celebrate College’s 50th
On Saturday, evening April 28, Northern Essex Community College’s Still Point Dancers will celebrate the college’s 50th anniversary with a special performance.
Alumni of the college, as well as faculty and staff, are invited to attend a reception at 7 p.m., prior to the 8 p.m. performance, which will feature a surprise in honor of the college’s 50th.
“The college’s dance program is celebrating its 39th anniversary,” said Michelle Deane, coordinator of the Dance Program. “We’ve been an important part of the college’s history and we wanted to be part of this milestone.”
The reception and performance will be held in the Sport and Fitness Center on the Haverhill Campus, 100 Elliott St. Tickets will be sold at the door and are $7 for adults, $5 for students and seniors, and $3 for children under 12.
