NECC invites you to participate in our exciting Song Remix Contest! It’s your chance to showcase your creative talents by putting a fresh spin on our school song, “Raise Your Banner High.”

Using the song elements provided, remix the NECC song in any creative way (see rules below). You can update musical elements, create a dance, or do both! 

Share Your Remix

Post your remix to TikTok or Instagram. Tag us @northernessex using the hashtag #NECCMusicThrives.

Contest Categories

Best Remix: Create a new rendition of the song

  • you can’t change the lyrics
  • feel free to translate the lyrics into Spanish or any language

Best Dance: Choreograph a unique dance routine to the song

Best Overall: Create a unique showstopper with music and/or dance, and more!

Contest Start Date: Monday, September 30

Contest End Date: Wednesday, October 30

Winners Announced: First week of November

Rules

• One entry per student

• Lyrics must remain unchanged; music can be remixed or updated

• Entries can be in English, Spanish, or any language

• Submit to your TikTok or Instagram
